Elegant Touches: This design firm showcased their work in a tented space using “tablescapes” to show a variety of styles and concepts. Fabulous new linen options along with perfect setings were creatively displayed. Brides were first introduced to Elegant Touches with an eye-catching tablescape in the foyer outside of the main hall and then again in a booth directly in front of the entrance to the fashion show. The booth was particularly noticeable because the designers showcased a variety of luxurious tablescapes in a tented space which utilized various colours; they also created depth through the use of different textures, heights, and dimensions.
Images by Frost: This company offered the kind of inviting, comfortable, and relaxed environment found in a private living room. The walls on which hung fine art prints reflected the studio’s brand colours.Images by Frost shared that their sole purpose was to create an inviting space where brides (and their entourage) could sit back, relax, and view the photographer’s work in a comfortable space — their goals were definitely met. As you walked into the booth, it was as if you were being invited into a friend’s living room. There were plenty of albums on the coffee table accompanied by fresh flowers and prints hung on the walls. I also thought that the use of the company’s brand colours was very thoughtful.
River City Event Rentals: This business selected to display a grand feature table in a well-designed dining room. The long table featured crisp whites awash with opulent blue lighting. WOW! It is evident in this booth that even when using white linens, great depth can be created through layering and drama is quickly added through added through the use of lighting.

Social Photo Booths: This was a fun interactive booth designed as a photo booth and it provided a nostalgic product; two strips of photos as perfect mementos of the fun had at the Expo. This was the first time that I had met the family behind Social Photo Booths and they are just as fun as their service! I really enjoyed the experience of the booth and the fact that the photo was printed like a strip of photos, just like the traditional booths you would visit at a mall!

Special Event Rentals: This booth was a show stopper right inside the main hall. Inside the large square space, displays revealed how two contrasting concepts, vintage and modern, could work individually or together. I liked that Special Event Rentals catered to brides with alternate wedding styles — modern as you walked in, or on the other side, vintage. They showcased many products and design ideas, but ultimately, the modern booth which is the first that I saw as I walked into the hall is one that lingers most, in my memory.
